User Guide

Updated: May 10, 2023

Analysis at the Single Cell Analyst is designed to be homogenous and easy to follow. As long as the user submits the required format of the input sample files and meta files containing sample information of the correct format, upon submission, analysis will be carried out automatically.

Analysis time varies depending on the size of the data. Please keep any submission of the sample size to at most 10GB.

Above applies to all analysis workflows under the Analysis section.

Input files

Sample data

Users could submit multiple samples files for each of the omics program to carry out integrative analysis on their data. For each omics, format of the sample files are described under each omics analysis page, and sample file(s) are also provided as a reference or for testing purposes. Please stick to the formats indicated on each analysis server page, to avoid any errors during the analysis.

Meta data

For any project, regardless of the sample size, please submit a sample metadata file in tab-separated .txt or comma-separated .csv file format. Please download the sample metadata file provided on each analysis page, and follows the content of the sample metadata files. Please note that the content for the meta files differs across omics, so please stick to the format of the sample metafiles before submission to avoid any errors.

Output files

Output files are provided as forms of static or interactive visualizations and are downloadable. We recommend the use of Chrome browser for better compatibilities.
